Know what the name means
Save 驴肉火烧, lvrou huoshao, often translated as a donkey-meat burger or filled flatbread. The meat is the defining ingredient, so choose it deliberately rather than treating the English word burger as a generic beef sandwich. Hebei’s official material recognizes the named regional food, and the tourism bureau describes businesses combining it with the contemporary West Street setting.
Order by the actual portion
Ask whether the price is for one complete filled flatbread and what amount or cut of meat is included. Confirm additional ingredients, peppers or other accompaniments with the business you choose.
