Tianzhu Mountain is a forest outing on the Haicang side of Xiamen, geographically distinct from Jimei’s museum cluster and the island’s Wanshi Botanical Garden. The April 2026 official account identifies Siji Flower Valley and east/west valley areas; October forestry reporting confirms the forest-tourism setting. These sources support a landscape visit, but they do not prove that every mountain trail or activity is open on a particular day. Decide whether your objective is a shorter valley walk or a longer hill hike before arranging the outbound and return journey. Budget an editorial half day for the former and a full day for a more demanding route.

Travel to the named Haicang entrance, choose a modest signed circuit and keep higher branches optional with a descent buffer.

For a manageable first visit, ask staff to mark the presently open valley circuit, its exit and the point at which the path becomes a mountain route. Build the walk around one valley landscape and a comfortable return, rather than following signs progressively uphill without a turnaround plan.
