Why this place matters

The rated unit joins Dujiangyan’s water-management heritage with Qingcheng Mountain’s Daoist and forest landscape. Their subjects, entrances and physical demands differ, and a shared rating does not make them one short visit.

A selective route

Allow two separate full days recommended before transport and queues. This is an editorial allowance. Give Dujiangyan a day for the irrigation-system interpretation and its permitted river-and-bridge circuit. Give Qingcheng another day for one official mountain route, allowing ascent, descent and station transfers. A tightly organized combined day necessarily sacrifices depth.

Tickets, branches and passport questions

Dujiangyan, Qingcheng Front Mountain, other mountain sectors, cableways, boats and internal transport can have independent products. A ticket bearing one component’s name is not a universal pass to the whole rated unit.

The official directory establishes identity and rating, not live admission. Current prices, hours, last entry, release timing and the foreign-passport workflow remain unknown unless a separately cited venue notice establishes them. Confirm the exact product, carry the original booking passport and keep the order offline. If the form only accepts a Chinese identity card, ask the venue about an assisted channel before travelling; walk-up capacity is unconfirmed.

A useful fallback

High water or storms can close river or mountain sections independently. Retain the separately confirmed component or use an urban day, and never take an informal path around a river or hill closure.

Check that institution or area’s own admission before moving: the suggested alternative is a separate visit, not an exchange promised by your original ticket.
