What to look for at Nineteen Peaks

Rock ridges and high walking routes make this a physically demanding alternative to central Shaoxing. The right circuit depends on weather and comfort with heights.

Choose between the rock-ridge landscape and a specifically operating Feilong elevated-walkway experience. The national public-broadcast account describes the latter as several components—traditional-style walkway, glass section and bridge—while the county’s October 2026 report emphasizes the surrounding Danxia landscape. A dramatic glass photograph does not represent the whole scenic area or prove that every elevated section is included in an ordinary ticket. This is a physically different visit from Xinchang’s Great Buddha heritage courts.

Build a route that ends at the right place

Choose the officially operating route and entrance, check return transport and leave a buffer for descending from viewpoints.

Specify the actual Nineteen Peaks/Feilong visitor entrance for the route you choose, check the live map and establish where the elevated circuit descends. Ask whether your exit returns to the same pickup or needs a separate connection. Start with a manageable signed section and turn back before fatigue makes the descent uncertain. A scenic train, a bridge, a performance valley and a hotel marketed under the wider destination name are separate location/product questions. Avoid designing the day around an unverified final lift, shuttle or train.

Plan A full excursion day for the stated visitor focus. This is an editorial allowance; queues and a separately described county-city journey need their own buffer.

Admission evidence and product boundaries

Scenic sections, glass or elevated walkways, transport and activity products can have different inclusions.

The actual national walkway report, tax authority’s specific destination account and 8 October 2026 county event report were checked. The latter describes an October 1–2 fantasy/performer program; it is not promised as a daily October attraction. The older walkway report’s capacities and hours are not reused as current. Present section inclusion, height/activity conditions, weather cancellation, passport processing and release rules remain unknown. Ask for the exact ridge/walkway product, a safe shortened land route and the final return; do not infer permission from a large regional scenic map.

A named alternative when the plan changes

If elevated sections close for wind, fog or equipment, accept only the operator’s confirmed lower route if it still meets your interests. If the whole landscape is unsuitable, move the day. Xinchang Great Buddha Temple is a named alternative with its own admission, religious/conservation boundaries and wet-path considerations; Xinchang Museum is an indoor option only after its actual session is confirmed. Do not treat Wuxie in Zhuji as an instant replacement, and never use a service track to bypass a closed bridge or ridge gate.
