What to look for at Qingxiu Mountain

Subtropical planting, wooded slopes and religious or garden precincts make this a large urban scenic day. The scale rewards selecting a few areas instead of rushing the whole map.

Choose a theme from the operator’s own routes: Longxiang Tower and the old-path/inscription corridor, Cycad Garden and Orchid Garden, or the China–ASEAN Friendship Garden. These are different emphases across a large planted hill. For a first visit, the tower and one plant collection give more understanding than racing between every flower garden. The official route list includes religious precincts and family activities too; their presence on a map does not make every interior or activity part of ordinary admission.

Build a route that ends at the right place

Confirm the intended entrance, choose a coherent garden-and-hill circuit and check internal transport before relying on it for the return.

Specify West Gate, North Gate or East Gate when arranging arrival. The operator’s transport page places Metro Line 3 Qingxiushan station, Exit B, beside the West Gate approach; the general address is 6-6 Fengling South Road. Start from that chosen gate, confirm the operating internal vehicle route and choose a return gate before walking toward a distant garden. Do not navigate to a generic mountain-center pin or expect an ordinary taxi to drive through the scenic roads. The museum and Confucian Temple stops along the wider Qinghuan Road corridor require their own transfers.

Plan 4–6 hours for the stated visitor focus. This is an editorial allowance; queues and a separately described county-city journey need their own buffer.

Admission evidence and product boundaries

Scenic entry, internal buses, special gardens, religious interiors and events may have separate conditions.

The actual operator’s 1 June 2026 ticket page lists ordinary gate admission at CNY20 per person per entry, with on-site window/QR purchase and the official WeChat ticket channel. Internal vehicles and special activities need separate checks. The page explicitly names valid foreign passports as evidence for its age-based concessions; this establishes that limited document use, not a completed passport checkout for every online product. The same page gives different gate opening periods, so check your actual exit rather than applying East Gate’s longer hours to every gate. Advance-release and full online passport fields remain unverified.

A named alternative when the plan changes

If a garden or temple section closes, retain the confirmed tower/plant route that your gate and return transport support. In thunderstorms, leave exposed hill paths and move the large outdoor session. Guangxi Museum of Nationalities is a named indoor alternative with its own admission and a specific forthcoming partial-gallery closure; Nanning Museum is across the river in Liangqing. Neither is reached simply by walking toward a tower visible across the water.
