Potan, written皤滩, is a historical trading settlement in Xianju. Its dedicated official account emphasizes the long dragon-shaped street and the former meeting of waterways and roads. Begin by finding that street’s present public entrance, then read the shopfront sequence as a commercial landscape. It is a different subject from Gaoqian’s family courtyards and from the engineered viewpoints of Shenxianju, even though all three appear in the same county’s travel promotion.

Walk the main permitted old-street circuit, select an open heritage interior and return before local transport becomes sparse.
