Check booking conditions →Taihu shorelines, classical gardens, canal neighborhoods and the separate county cities of Yixing and Jiangyin. Stay near the city-center sights if most of your trip is urban; choose an overnight nearer an outlying excursion when that removes repeated long transfers. A municipality name can cover several county cities, hills and coastlines, so the five-day plan offers choices by geography rather than a compulsory checklist.
Visit Huishan Ancient Town with a separate Jichang Garden product. Add Donglin Academy only with confirmed opening and a central-city transfer.
Give Wuxi Museum a real session, then visit Nanchan Temple area and a short Qingming Bridge/Nanchang Street canal route. Cruises remain optional.
Choose Yuantouzhu as the main visit, with Liyuan or Meiyuan only if time allows. The film sites are a full-day alternative, not an extra after three gardens.
Give Lingshan a substantial dedicated day. Dangkou and the Hongshan Site Museum form a separate east-side alternative after confirming both; they are not on the Lingshan route.
